I was tasked with the rebranding of the HWDSB Foundation.
All the elements from the logo, to the image of the school nestled in the community to the iconography, share a distinct style and form. They are linear in design, understated and clear. This clarity and use of iconography will contribute to a deeper understanding of the materials as well as branding them and creating trust. English language learners and people of all abilities will be able to grasp the concepts easier by the use of images in conjunction to simple, easy-to-understand text.
The heart in the school house and in the hidden shape revealing the student’s photo suggest that students are at the heart of all that we do – amplifying the ‘donor focused’ mentality of the new Foundation.
